If you are raising a child with the support of the Unsupported Child or Orphan’s Benefit (UCB/OB), this is a friendly reminder of the up and coming closing dates:
• for the School and Year Start-up Payment (SAYSUP) which is open now and closes at the end of February 2022 and
• the Extraordinary Care Fund (ECF) which closes on Friday 18th February 2022.
For more information and to access the application forms you can go to the Work and Income website (WINZ) www.workandincome.govt.nz or you can contact them directly on 0800 559 009.
The SAYSUP application is an online form only – Please check your information is correct before you submit this form, including the date of birth and using the correct spelling of names. This will help prevent delays receiving your payment.
The ECF application form is not an online form and can either be printed off the website or you can contact WINZ directly to request a form to be sent out to you.
