Extraordinary Care Fund
You can apply if a child you care for shows promise in a skill or talent, or because they are experiencing difficulties and need extra support.
To qualify you need to get the Unsupported Child’s Benefit (UCB) or Orphan’s Benefit (OB).

This is not an online application form. You will need to print the form off then submit your application, you can get your completed form and documents to WINZ by either:
Dropping these into your nearest service centre
Posting these to your nearest service centre (please only send certified copies of your identity documents, not the originals).
A panel assess each application. They meet three times every year.
You will receive a letter in the mail confirming the outcome of your application.
